E-board Reports

• President -- Him and Marg will be going to the recruitment fair...they need to fly. Anone else is welcome to fly out too (at their own expense). Someone needs to volunteer to come up with Social topic, etc. Black Student Org meeting (anyone want to check it out regarding the divesity discussion? Elsa's off!)
• Vice President -- Princeton Review--it's a good op to rate the campus climate, so please complete it if you have the time.
• Treasurer -- paid mailbox, and we've got our mail, paid back Tech Fund.
• Public Relations Officers -- Dan made posters about GFBM presentations.
• Secretary -- GLSEN Ally Week.

Advisor Reports

• Phopp (BGC in Old Business) KP Holiday Dinner is going to be Sat Dec 15 around 6 pm! Phopp is going to send out a note later...previous attendance has been rom 25-50

Committee Reports

at least the night before our meetings 7:00 pm on Wednesdays and for
any supplemental meetings.

• Gay? Fine By Me -- meeting with WHSA, remember to "work" Travis "well" to get more money out of him. McNair didn't donate last year...Dan making list of last year's donors. Andrew and Dan will be going to the WHSA meeting to present Sunday at 8pm.
• Pride Week Gail is to e-mail HRC about For the Bible Tells Me So (copy of movie and rights) about using Jason's photo from chalkings w/o permission. Information about booking MUB for bowling and Rozsa
• BGC -- hotels are booked. Phopp e-mailed mucho people to invite to BGC (such as Jen O) and to help come up with $2,500 a year ($2,800 this year). Explained the importance. Funding -- USG will fund up to four people to go to a yearly conference (in their by-laws). Thus, we should petition for funding of four people to go to BGC. Who would like to work with Andrew to propose a request to petition the parent's fund and USG? Dan and Nich. Who is going (and going with KP)? To be sent to pride-l. 25 people were estimated to attend on the October 17th meeting.
• Eye of the Storm -- Nich and Dan have sent e-mails regarding funding. Best options seem to be USG, BSO, etc.
• Winter Carnival Statue -- Dan has the app for Snow Statue. Someone to be a safety officer? Christian. Just come with Dan to the meetings on ... Dan will find out.
• Career Day Project -- (no report)

Old Business

• Yooper Conference Update -- Gail has 2 free speakers!
• Third Wave Grant -- Andrew got it done last Weds night! Awaiting response. Applied money to get 4 people to go to Detroit for an event by the GLTF.

New Business

• New Diversity Minor! Approved today by the HU Dept. Students interested can begin now by taking courses from sections B and C on the audit form (attached on listserv).
• Larry is passing out a questionnaire -- LGBT issues. All thoughts will be passed on to teachers--it will have an effect!
• Elsa met with Shawn from BSA, diversity forum, during MLK Jr Day. Elsa was the only one to attend! More later.
