All meeting times are at 8:00pm on Wednesday nights, in the Alumni Lounge A of the Memorial Union Building on the Michigan Tech Campus.

Keweenaw Pride Student Organization

We try to do our business before the regular meeting begins. Executive Board and Committees meet at 7pm to discuss business, although all are invited. At 8pm, the KP General Meeting will start where we will provide a semi-social atmosphere and report business briefly to the group. When this meeting is over there is a social event. Occasionally, we will hold an informational meeting during this time to talk about current events and GLBTA issues.

Our meetings usually consist of an informal gathering of staff, students, faculty, and community members. We discuss group business, projects, current issues, or whatever is on our minds.

Please note: All of our meeting locations are designated ‘Safe Place’ locations during our meeting time. This means that any unfriendly speech or actions will not be tolerated and people demonstrating these actions will be asked to leave. If problems persist, offenders will be removed by Public Safety and be reported to the Deans Office. For more information on the campus-wide Safe Place Program, click here.
